In recent years, the Czech Republic has gained growing importance in the Central and Eastern European chemical procurement landscape. As an inland industrial powerhouse of the European Union, its industrial chains covering automotive manufacturing, machinery, food processing and glass production keep expanding. However, local chemical supplies cannot fully meet such demands, making imports a regular practice. China serves as a key link in this supply chain. Nevertheless, only scattered impressions are available in public discussions regarding the actual volume and categories of Chinese chemical products exported to the Czech Republic. As a service provider for Sino-Czech chemical supply chains, we have carried out research on chemicals under our business scope and sorted out relevant China Customs data from January to September 2026, as shown in the table below.

Export volume is measured in kilograms. Export value refers to the total export amount (in Renminbi Yuan) for each product variety. Unit price is calculated as Export Value ÷ Export Volume. Products are sorted in descending order of export volume.
1. Looking across the report at the 25 chemical products, China's total export volume to the Czech Republic reached 4,460,291 kg159,268,004 RMB. Among these, 10 products exceeded 10 tons, 8 exceeded 50 tons, 6 exceeded 100 tons, 4 exceeded 500 tons, and 2 exceeded 1,000 tons.
The fact that 10 products exceeded 10 tons indicates that procurement for these chemicals relies heavily on the Chinese market. It shows that procurement costs in China are relatively low, and Chinese pricing advantages are highly evident. These products include Dimethyl carbonate, Sodium carbonate (soda ash), Lithium hexafluorophosphate, Citric acid, Magnesium chloride, Polyacrylamide, Caustic soda (sodium hydroxide), Ethyl PG-acetal levulinate, Methyl ethyl ketone and Monoethanolamine.
- Beer brewing and the food industry are traditional pillars of the Czech Republic; this sector requires citric acid, lactic acid, sucralose and glycerine.
- Lithium hexafluorophosphate is a core raw material for lithium-ion battery electrolytes, directly linked to the new energy battery industry in the Czech Republic and neighbouring countries; this sector also requires ethyl PG-acetal levulinate, benzyl alcohol and acetone cyanohydrin.
- This sector requires methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl acetate, polyethylene, methyl methacrylate, polyacrylamide and acrylic acid.
- Sodium carbonate and borax are fundamental raw materials for glass manufacturing; these industries also require dimethyl carbonate, caustic soda, magnesium chloride, monoethanolamine, sodium chloride and bentonite.
2. In terms of the overall report, China's total export volume to the Czech Republic is 4,460,291 kg7,678,903,592 kg. The Czech Republic's share accounts for only 0.058% of China's global exports. This demonstrates that China has ample production capacity and can sustainably supply the Czech market.
A: You can absolutely find reliable manufacturers through us. We are Shanghai Dingwujin Chemical Co., Ltd., a China-Czech Republic chemical trade service provider located in Shanghai, China. We possess a much deeper understanding of the pricing and quality within the Chinese chemical market than general buyers. We can provide direct procurement from source factories, chemical bidding, OEM, quality control, as well as COA and SDS services to guarantee long-term stable supply and quality.
A: The Czech Republic is a landlocked country with no seaport. Sea freight must first reach European ports such as Hamburg or Rotterdam, followed by inland transport, taking about 35-45 days in total. By land, the China-Europe freight train reaches Prague and Pardubice via Malaszewicze, Poland, taking about 18-25 days in total, which offers shorter and more stable transit and is the preferred option for bulk and high-value cargo. Booking, customs clearance and door-to-door delivery are all arranged by us in one package.
A: We have independently registered a company in Poland to provide REACH/OR services for trade from China to the Czech Republic. By empowering factories with REACH capabilities, we help Chinese factories that meet the tonnage threshold become compliant REACH/OR suppliers.
